Permits
City of Wallis requires building permits. Contact City Hall at 979-478-6712 before starting your project. PENALTY FOR STARTING WORK PRIOR TO OBTAINING A PERMIT, FEES WILL BE DOUBLED. Below you will find all permits required for certain tasks within the City of Wallis. The city has a third party that does all plan reviews and inspections. Plan reviews can take a minimum of five (5) days for residential and a minimum of ten (10) days for commercial to complete. Please be aware of this time frame when submitting a permit for review and plan your project accordingly
Contractors are required to register with the city, there will be a $100.00 registration fee (good for one year).

Registration for Rental Property- All rental property must be registered annually with the City of Wallis.
