The primary duties of the department are:

To protect the public from wild, exotic and domestic animals

To enforce City Ordinances and State Laws

Dogs should be registered with the City of Wallis.  To register and receive a tag go by City Hall, 6810 Guyler St. Bldg. B, Wallis, TX  77485.  Please bring verification that your animal has been vaccinated for rabies by a licensed Veterinarian.

Registration Fee

$5.00 each dog Per Resolution No. 2017-21 adopted May 17, 2017. 

 

Impound Fee

$20 for each animal plus an additional $10 for each time the animal was previously impounded during the 12 months preceding the date of impoundment, plus $15 for each day/partial day the animal has been impounded.  FEE MUST BE PAID AT CITY HALL BEFORE TO PICKING UP YOUR ANIMAL.
