The City Council of the City of Wallis, Texas, reserves the right to adjourn into Executive Session at any time during the course of this meeting to discuss any of the matters listed below as authorized by Title 5, Chapter 551, of the Texas Government Code.  551.071 (Consultation with Attorney), 551.072 (Deliberations about Real Property), 551.073 (Deliberations about Gifts and Donations), 551.074 (Personnel Matters), 551.076 (Deliberations about Security Devices), 551.086 (Deliberations about competitive matters), and 551.087 (Deliberation about Economic Development Matters).

1.         Call to order.

2.           Invocation and Pledge of Allegiance

3.           Roll Call and Certification of Quorum

4     Communication from the public (limited to the first eight registrants - limited to three minutes.) In accordance with the Open Meeting Act, City Council may not discuss or take action on any item that has not been posted on the agenda.

5.       Consent Agenda:

This portion of the agenda consists of items considered to be routine and will be enacted by one motion unless separate discussion is requested by a City Councilmember.

6. Action on Department reports if necessary.

7. Financial Review: Monthly reports, Budgetary Amendments if necessary, payment of bills.

8. New Business:

This portion of the agenda consists of items requiring individual consideration by the Council.

a. Discussion - Streets and drainage

Discussion and possible action on streets and drainage.

b. Old Police Department building

Discussion and possible action on removing old Police Department building at 114 South 3rd Street and installing gates.

c. Westgate paving project

Discussion and possible action on next phase of street paving in Westgate subdivision.

d. Closed Executive Session:

                                       Deliberation about Personal Matters Texas Government Code 551.074

                                             1. Review of applications for part time help in the Public Works Department and possible selecting a candidate for    the part time position.

                                             2. Evaluation on interim Public Works Director.

e. Reconvene from Closed Executive Session

Reconvene meeting in public session. Consider and act on any issues resulting from the "Executive Session."

f. Discussion - Future agenda items

Request for future agenda items.

9. Hear announcements concerning of community interest from the Mayor, Council Members, and City Staff for which no action will be taken or discussed.

10. Adjourn meeting.
